Annotation

I am going to be reading through all the PMD posts from last year and annotating them with updates as I see fit. I'll try to resist the urge to change the originals, except for correcting typos, but I will call myself out when I think I was mistaken about something. I plan to make this sort of annotation and dialogue with my earlier self a regular feature of the blog going forward. That varies from usual bloggish practice, in which nothing is deader or more forgotten than an old post, and time moves relentlessly in one direction only -- forward. Circling back appeals to me.
